SymLine material properties
All components made of conductive plastic can be grounded and are suitable for equipotential bonding according to TRGS 727. Electrically conductive PE-HD-EL has a leakage resistance to earth < 109 ohms according to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is suitable for zones 0, 1 and 2 according to the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (GefStoffV), EN 1127-1, DIN EN 60079-10-1 or DIN EN 60079-10-2. It is resistant to chemical substances according to SEFA 3 and SEFA 8.
The alternative too heavy stainless steel!
Organic solvents, acids, alkalis, or other aggressive substances can with the SymLine® system can be collected safely. In contrast to stainless steel, there are no corrosion problems. Due to its low weight, the conductive SymLine plastic is the ideal material for use in the laboratory. Heavy stainless steel containers are difficult to transport when full. Here the SymLine® products have a considerable weight advantage.
