Details
The 15-gallon drum made from PE-HD is a one-piece moulded waste container for collecting liquid laboratory waste and solvent mixtures. With a nominal volume of approximately 57 litres, it belongs to the large-volume containers of the SCAT waste disposal family. The connections are designed as 2"-NPT and 3/4"-NPT plugs.
This 15-gallon drum is suitable for centralised waste collection in laboratories and industrial facilities with high solvent volumes. Longer change intervals can be planned; transport and handling concepts should be established in advance. Compared to smaller canisters, the drum significantly reduces the frequency of container changes, which facilitates plannable disposal intervals.
Handles attached at the top and bottom make handling and transport easier, even when the container is full. The dimensions of 368 × 673 mm define the space required for installation and storage. The plastics and materials used are FDA-compliant. PE-HD is corrosion-resistant and UV-resistant, which supports use under different storage and environmental conditions.
