The SCAT activated carbon exhaust filter L adsorbs solvent vapours and supports a safe, low-emission laboratory environment. The multi-layer filter filling combines specialised activated carbons for solvent vapours as well as acidic and alkaline components. This means that not only typical organic vapours from HPLC waste are adsorbed, but also small acid and alkali fractions from eluents and mobile phases. The high-performance activated carbon with an internal surface area of up to 1500 m²/g and a CTC value of >90 % stands for high adsorption capacity and long service life. With integrated splash guard, replacement label and up to 12 months service life. Replacement pack of 2 pcs.

The SCAT Activated Carbon Exhaust Filter L offers the longest service life in the range: for up to 12 months, it reliably captures solvent vapors from waste canisters on your HPLC system. This makes it the first choice for labs with high sample throughput or continuous operation, where less frequent filter changes streamline daily work and reduce maintenance time. The filter is simply screwed onto Safety Waste Caps via the GL14 thread and noticeably lowers solvent concentrations in the ambient air – for better respiratory protection and less odor at the workplace. The integrated splash guard prevents liquid ingress, while the included replacement labels allow seamless documentation of the service period. Supplied as a convenient replacement pack with two filters (pack of 2), a spare is always at hand – enabling scheduled changes without interruption. The large activated carbon fill ensures high adsorption capacity and therefore exceptionally low-maintenance operation throughout the year.
