The SCAT HPLC Starter Kit II is a preconfigured system solution for the safe supply of solvents to HPLC systems. The set includes GL45 Safety Caps, air valves, change indicators, PFA fittings for 1.6 / 2.3 / 3.2 mm OD, PFA blind plugs and labelling fields. The matched components enable clean routing of solvent lines and support a tight, emission-reduced connection between laboratory bottles and the HPLC system. This reduces solvent vapours and supports reproducible laboratory processes.

Details

The HPLC Starter Kit II is a pre-configured supply set for low-emission solvent supply to HPLC systems. The core of the kit comprises four Safety Caps II with GL-45 thread for connecting capillary tubing to laboratory bottles. The field of application is in analytics, pharmaceuticals and chemical research, wherever HPLC systems are supplied with eluents. The Safety Cap II with GL-45 thread fits standard laboratory bottles with GL-45 opening and connects the bottle and capillary tubing to form a low-emission supply unit. The kit covers the requirement for four supply units without individual procurement of components. Each Safety Cap II is screwed on to the laboratory bottle. The included PFA fittings with 1.6 mm, 2.3 mm and 3.2 mm outside diameter cover common capillary diameters and enable orderly tubing routing. The ventilation valve opens under negative pressure and allows filtered air to flow in, thereby limiting uncontrolled vapour release. PFA blind plugs seal unused connections. The colour-coded fittings – green, purple, blue – facilitate identification during laboratory operation. The change indicator documents the replacement date of the ventilation valve and supports plannable maintenance intervals. The labelling fields enable clear identification of the bottles directly at the installation location. The Starter Kit II reduces configuration effort when setting up new HPLC supply units with Safety Cap II and GL-45 bottles.
