The SCAT Safety Cap III, GL45 is a hermetically sealing safety cap for safe HPLC solvent supply on laboratory bottles with GL45 thread. 3 capillary ports enable clean routing of solvent tubing directly to the HPLC system. The installed air valve opens under vacuum and provides controlled, filtered air intake into the bottle. This reduces solvent vapors, improves occupational safety and optimizes laboratory processes in analytics, chemistry and pharma.

The Safety Cap III for GL45 laboratory bottles is a supply cap with three capillary connections for HPLC solvent supply. Screwed onto the GL45 thread of the laboratory bottle, it enables closed, low-emission routing of up to three capillary lines directly to the HPLC system. With three capillary connections, the Safety Cap III is suitable for laboratory setups where multiple lines must be routed simultaneously – for example in analytics, pharma or chemistry. Within the Safety Cap family, it covers medium requirements for the number of connections. Two supplied PFA blind plugs reliably seal unused connections. The ventilation valve opens under negative pressure and allows filtered air to flow in; it thereby limits uncontrolled vapour release from the bottle. All connections are designed for the UNF 1/4" 28G thread. The supplied PFA fittings are available in three outer diameters: 1.6 mm, 2.3 mm and 3.2 mm. The labelling field enables direct identification of the bottle at the workplace. The change indicator documents the replacement date of the ventilation valve and thus supports plannable maintenance intervals. The Safety Cap III is therefore designed for GL45 bottles with three active capillary connections; PFA fittings and PFA blind plugs are included in the scope of delivery.
